What is SSC MTS Exam?
SSC MTS is the short term of “SSC Multitasking Staff”. SSC conducts the SSC Multitasking exam in two main stages; Common Test and descriptive paper. After clearing these stages, the candidate will get selected for General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Offices, in different States/Union Territories.
Last time, 70 lakhs (approx) candidates registered for SSC MTS 2016 recruitment. However, only 19,96,411 lakhs candidates appeared in SSC MTS exam, in which total 10,674 candidates were shortlisted after the final result.

Candidates should follow the following eligibility criteria for SSC MTS 2019 Exam:-
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have passed the 10th class or equivalent from a Government recognized Board. For further information, you can take a look at the SSC MTS eligibility criteria.
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/08/2019.

SSC MTS Application Form
Candidates will able to start filling the SSC MTS 2019 Application Form from 22nd April 2019. The application form link will be activated on the official website to start the recruitment process. The fee payment of application form can be done two modes online & Offline. The last date to apply for SSC MTS 2019 exam is 22nd May 2019. The aspirants who are going to apply for this exam can check the following steps in order to fill the online application form.
How to Apply SSC MTS Online Application Form?
- Go to official website ssc.nic.in.
- In Header click on “Apply” Tab.
- In appeared window click on the “MTS” tab.
- Now navigate to “Click Here to Apply“.
- A new window will be appeared to enter the details.
- New candidates will have to register first.
- Already registered candidates will have to log in with Registration No. & password.
- Submit the correct details carefully as per verified documents.
- Now upload the scanned passport size photo in the required size as per mentioned in the form.
- Choose the mode of payment.
- The final step is to Submit the details.
- Once the registration is a success, you will get a confirmation mail.

SSC MTS Syllabus & Exam Pattern
This year SSC MTS 2019 exam (Non-Technical) will be conducted in an online mode, unlike in past years. The exam pattern has been changed to 100 questions which were earlier to be conducted for 200 questions. Also, the time limit has been reduced to 120 minutes.
