Panjab University conducts the Panjab University Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (PUCET) in offline mode for admission to BSc. (Hons.) and B.Pharma programmes at the university and 188 participating colleges.
Candidates appearing in PUCET 2020 can opt for subject combinations of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and Mathematics.
Along with the combinations of PCB or PCM, candidates have the option of taking an additional subject Biology/Mathematics. The examination will consist of Multiple Choice Questions, a duration of 70 minutes.

PU CET Exam Eligibility:
- Age- 17 years
- Education : The Candidate must have passed the Intermediate from any recognized Board of education with subject for which they wish to study in BSc.
- Courses: B.Sc(Hons) in Anthropology, B.Pharma, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology, Mathematics & Computing, Physics, Microbiology, Physics & Electronics.
- Exam Pattern:- The Exam will consist of 60 objective type questions. The total time allotted to complete the paper is 70 minutes. Each correct answer will get you 2 marks and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

PU CET Application Form 2020
The application form of PU CET UG is released for admissions in UG courses offered by the university. There is a single, common application form of PU CET 2020 for BSc. (Hons.) and B.Pharma. Eligible candidates can fill PU CET application form 2020 by following the stages mentioned here.
Stage I – Registration: While applying for PU CET 2020, candidates have to first of all register by entering details like name, email ID, contact number, etc.
Stage 2 – Log In: Once the registration is done, candidates have to login using the unique registration number and password which candidates must keep safe with them.
Stage 3 – Fee Payment: Candidates can pay the fee via e-challan. Candidates have to enter the required information in the application form and generate the bank challan from the application form. The fee has to be paid via e-challan which has to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India. Application fee details are mentioned below.
- Application Fee for General Category (PCB/PCM/M) – Rs.2175
- Application Fee for SC/ST/Pdmit Card 2020wD Category (PCB/PCM/M)- Rs.1088
- Application Fee for Additional Paper (Biology/Math)- Rs.300
Stage 4 – Uploading Documents and Filling Application: In this stage, candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature (as per the prescribed specifications), and fill other required details.
Stage 5 – Preview Application Form: At this stage, candidates can preview their entered details and edit/modify/change the particulars in case required.
Stage 6 – Print Application: The last stage of the application form of PU CET 2020 is to take a printout of the submitted form. The printout has to be kept with the candidates only for future reference.
