About AIIMS Nursing 2020
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi is the conducting body of AIIMS Nursing 2020 for courses like B.Sc (H) Nursing, B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) and M.Sc Nursing. The basic registration of AIIMS Nursing 2020 for B.Sc courses will start in the last week of November 2019 and that for M.Sc courses will start in the first week of February 2020. AIIMS is an institute of national importance and admissions to the medical seats of the institutions various branches is conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi through different entrance exams. There are two steps of registrations for AIIMS Nursing under the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system newly announced by AIIMS – basic registration followed by Generation of Code and Final Registration. After candidates complete basic registration they will be provided with the option of making corrections in their application form. The final registration of AIIMS Nursing 2020 will begin in the fourth week of March. Admit card of AIIMS Nursing 2020 will release in the third week of May 2020.
AIIMS Nursing 2020 exam date is different for all three courses. The entrance exam of AIIMS Nursing 2020 for B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) and M.Sc Nursing will be held on June 6, whereas, that of B.Sc (H) Nursing will be held on June 28, 2020. The written exam is stage 1 for AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic). Candidates who qualify in the exam will have to also qualify in the Personal Assessment / Interview.
Factors to be considered for Personal Assessment test
- Past academic performance in the Higher Secondary or +2 or equivalent examination;
- Past academic performance in the Nursing examination;
- Performance as a Staff Nurse.
Note: Admission will be on the basis of aggregate marks of stage 1 and 2.
