What is SSC CPO Exam?
Selection Staff Commission conducts SSC CPO (Central Police Organisations) recruitment exam every year for the post of SI (Sub Inspector)/ASI in Delhi Police/CAPF /CISF department in the Central Police Organization (CPO).
SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for SSC CPO:
- There are no special eligibility criteria to be eligible for SSC PO recruitment exam. You just need Graduation degree in any discipline from an authorized University or any equivalent degree recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Sub Inspector in Delhi Police: Male candidates must have a valid Driving License (D/L) for LMV (Car & Motorcycle) as on the date fixed for PET (Physical Endurance and Standard Tests), otherwise, you will not be allowed to undergo PET. However, Driving License is not mandatory at the time of filing application form.
Age Limit for SSC CPO
- 20 years is the minimum age limit.
- 25 years is the maximum age limit as on 01.08.2019.

SSC CPO SI Exam Pattern
SSC CPO SI exam is conducted in an online mode within a time duration of 2 hours. Questions will of Multiple Choice Type with 0.25 marks of negative marking for each wrong answer applicable in both the tiers. Below is the SSC CPO SI ASI Exam Pattern & Syllabus:
